EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES: ENGLISH PROJECT🎌🎌

The european day of languages began in April 1997, at the European´s council during a Project's Final Conference, but the first day of this celebration was the 26th September of 2001, and now every year we celebrate this day the 26th September.

The aim of this celebration on the 2001 was to improve the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of Europe so that all Europeans can face the challenges of an increasingly interactive multilingual and multicultural continent.
The aims of the Year were:
  • To increase the linguistic knowledge in Europe to can learn other languages and cultures.
  • To develop more plurilingualism in Europe, so we could have more communicative ability in a lot of languages.
  • To encourage lifelong language learning for personal development.
MY OPPINION ABOUT THIS is that everybody need to know the more languages as possible because it´s going to help you a lot in your life; for example, in your career. If you know more languages, you are going to get a job easily. Other example is when you travel, you can communicate with people of other countries easily. But I think that there are languages that are more useful than others. I think English and Spanish are the most important languages, because they are the most talked in all the world and the languages that most people know. I think this day of languages is a very good idea.

  1. Be careful with the "-s" (3rd person singular), revise where have you skipped it. "the more languages as possible" sounds much better, "get a job" sounds better too. Don't use "the" with general things (such as English), and remember that nationalities and languages are written with capital letter. Very weel done Diego!!
